Recycling Centre Operative (SWISCo)

BIG ANT Group are looking for a team member to join the SWISCo Recycling Centre in Paignton..

Your role will be primarily customer facing; directing customers on site, ensuring the safety of the customers is at the forefront at all times as well as clearing and sweeping the site to ensure it is clear of any hazards or debris. Another key part of this role will be sorting materials - this will involve opening waste bags to separate any potential recyclable materials to reduce incinerated waste and support the environment.

At the Recycling Centre, you will be required to carry out some physical duties and follow all Health & Safety guidelines at all times. You will be working in all weathers and provided full PPE required to fulfil the role.

This role is initially until 31.05.2025 but may be extended further and could lead to a permanent position.

The total hours offered are 37 hours per week and you would be working from 8am - 4pm for 4 days and 8.30am - 4pm one day a week.
