Do you have a passion for plants and a keen eye for vibrant displays? Big Ant Recruitment are working with SWISCo to find a knowledgeable horticulturist to help keep the parks, gardens, and green spaces of Torbay looking their best all year round!
About the Role
As part of the Parks Team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and enjoyable for the community. Working as part of a team of up to five, you'll be guided daily by a Team Leader and report to the Grounds Maintenance Team Manager.
The working hours are a total of 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07.30-15.30 and Friday 07.30-15.00.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for plant selection, seasonal upkeep, and ensuring the health of flower beds, trees, and shrubs. You'll also help with a variety of general maintenance tasks to keep Torbay's parks and gardens looking pristine.
