Big Ant Group are supporting a long-standing client in Newton Abbot (Brunel Industrial Estate) with recruiting Production and Machine Operators.
We have upcoming requirements supporting with the following duties:
- Operating laser machinery
- Running production lines, monitoring machinery output
- Manual tool work
- Manual assembly work
- Metal preparation
- Lifting products 20kg+ with a colleague
- Fabricating
Experience of working in a manufcaturing environment is preferred and experience working with metal products is a bonus. If you have CNC machinery experience or experience with tooling, this will be useful due to a specific area of the business needs.
Manual and heavy work will be involved so it is essential you are comfortable with physical duties.
A good level of understanding, both verbal written English is essential for training. You must also be able to communicate clearly to allow you to communicate questions / health & safety matters.
Working hours will be Monday to Wednesday from 18:00 - 06:00. Overtime may be offered on a Thursday night.
This position is due to start early November and the role may lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
